My knee is feeling better, but I'm still nervous. I don't want to hurt it again.
Matt and I are taking the kids to the family exercise room on base, and I will be doing something like an elliptical machine in an effor to not hurt my knee.
I know the key to good weight loss is through exercise, so I really need to do this.

Best to you! We are in the same boat. I too am trying to drop some pounds and a recent knee injury has me a little wary of exercise, but I'm going to try again this week.
